Gate Electronics has officially announced it's plans to implement Bluetooth® technology in its modules controlling the operation of AEG replicas. Bluetooth® equipped products should appear on the market in the first quarter of 2020. Earlier introduction of this technology was impossible due to high license costs. 
There are plans for an external display informing about various operational parameters of the replica and a Blu-Link adapter. As stated, the device will work, among others, with the iOS operating system (iPhone), so compatibility with Android devices seems obvious.
