Recently, we published photos of two AK replicas aged by its user. LCT has an offer for those less patient, who would like to have a replica of a similar look. The manufacturer's offer includes a set of wooden parts bearing the Vintage name (PK-383). It is a set consisting of a wooden (plywood) stock with a metal butt plate and carrying sling loop, a plywood handguard with a gas tube cover and a brown polymer pistol grip (its bronze, not bakelite like).
The wooden parts are colored differently than those that are factory-installed in replicas, and in fact they add a bit of character when they are fitted.
As you can see in the last photo, the set can be mounted on the AKM and the AKMS as well as the AK-74 and the AKS-74 but,of course, on the last two replicas the effect will not be completely accurate.
The manufacturer does not guarantee compatibility with replicas made by its competitors. The price in Europe: around 110 € plus shipping cost, therefore the set is slightly more expensive than buying a set meant for real carbine and converting them to fir a replica.
