Among the news and announcements Specna Arms presented several new models prepared according to the refreshed EDGE 2.0 specification. All replicas in this series will be equipped with the Aster module made by GATE, high torque motors and a new quick spring change system. The carbines in this specification will appear on the market at the end of the first quarter of 2020. Among them will be replicas from the H line, modeled after the HK416.

Specna is also working on new accessories. A new stock model is being prepared, which has a significantly increased the amount of space for the battery.

In March, at the IWA 2020, a new licensed Rock River Arms handguard will be presented, which, due to license restrictions, will only be available in a set with a replica. Also, Specna will show a new tactical grip pattern and speed trigger. We also learned, unofficially, that talks are underway with another potential licensor from the firearms market.

The Aster system mentioned earlier, was already available with Specna Arms replicas, but it was not factory assembled. Now, as a result of closer cooperation between SA and GATE, the new EDGE 2.0 replicas will be fitted with this part at he assembly line. The most important functions of the module are:
- a programmable trigger;
- a low-cap simulator, pre-cocking, trigger sensitivity;
- programming via USB-link or Bluetooth-link;
- different versions of programming applications with various functionality (Basic, Advanced, Expert) - iOS version in the works;
- advanced statistics.
