Barrett ... most of us associate this name with the iconic M82 rifle firing a powerful 12.7mm (.50cal) round.

The high-caliber sniper rifle, created in the 1980's was, and still is, used (though in a modernized versions) to neutralize enemy combatants and their equipment at distances of up to 2000m.

However, Barrett has released a hunting rifle in 2016, in a classic layout, called Fieldcraft, which is a departure from military designs.

The weapon is offered in a vide range of calibers including 243 WINCHESTER 6MM CREEDMOOR, 22-250 REMINGTON, 6.5 CREEDMOOR, 7MM-08 REMINGTON, 308 WINCHESTER and 30-06 SPRINGFIELD.

EMG has recently revealed its plans for the production of the Barrett Fieldcraft rifle replica.
