The season for gas-powered replicas is in full swing, and Vega Force Company has just officially presented its latest replica of the PPSh-41 SMG, the famous Soviet Papasha.
The replica first came into our hands over two years ago during the MOA 2023 trade fair in Taiwan, where the upcoming replica was unofficially presented (The famous Papasha from Vega Force Company).
Over time, the project was developed and more details about the PPSh-41 replica were revealed. Ultimately, the replica differs little from the presented version or the legend of the Eastern Front. The replica itself was made of pressed steel sheet with a wooden stock, has reproduced production markings from the year 1944 and other historical details.
Inside the replica, a lightweight bolt carrier made of aircraft aluminum and a polymer nozzle were used, which resulted in a fairly high rate of fire of up to 1000 shots per minute. Players will be able to use both automatic and single fire.
Vega Force Company decided to add a drum magazine to the replica, which is a gas tank and holds polymer inserts for 120 BBs. This is a system similar to the solution used in another replica from this company, like the M249 SAW GBB with separate gas supply and BB feed (The M249 GBBR replica by Vega Force Company has been officially released). This is to allow for having more magazines without having to spend large sums of money.
Inside, the PPSh-41 replica has a hop-up system with TDC, where adjustment is done using a regular 2mm Allen key placed under the latch on the cartridge chamber.
The Vega Force CompanyPPSh-41 replica is already available in stores at a price of around 500 USD.
