About Cabot Guns made a name for itself a few years ago when 1911 pistols, called "The Big Bang Set" and made entirely of metal acquired from the Gibeon meteorite, were auctioned.
This time, it seems that Cabot has again pushed the boundary of what a pistol can be. The Dragon Fire model is more than an engraving, it is like a functional, fire-breathing sculpture.
The artistic value of the weapon have been recognized by granting it the FEGA’s 2020 Award for Artistic Uniqueness awarded by the Firearms Engravers Guild of America.
The Dragon Fire has a stunning level of hand-made details, ranging from whisker like grip panels to a gold-framed ruby front sight or half-carat black diamond dragon eyes surrounded by rubies.
Everything is complemented by hand-engraved scales and shiny dragon teeth.
The price at the time of writing this article is 129,000 USD.
The question arises: is this a gun for shooting or for a museum?
