The cover is designed for use on 120mm by 40mm silencers. The cover is not intended for use with silencers mounted on weapons firing in full-auto mode. Its main application is to reduce the mirage effect caused by the muffler heating up and to protect the shooter against possible burns caused by touching a hot silencer.
