Unity Tactical has been a very popularity company for a long time now (especially among tactical Youtubers), thanks to its otherwise innovative mounts for FAST series optics
and switches for flashlights called Hot Button
and the TAPS.
Interestingly, the company's products are available in Poland, unlike many other products from the USA.
This time, Unity Tactical offers adapters for new headsets contracted by US SOCOM - the AMP Tactical Headset by Ops-Core.
The innovative AMP helmet mounting arms attach the headphones to the rear rail section and support the headset forward, behind the operator's ears, instead of the traditional top mount. This frees the upper rails for mounting other devices such as lighting and cameras. However, the factory configuration of the headphones mounting arms only works with the original Ops-Core ARC rails. Unity Tactical Platform Adapter is the solution that allows to mount the AMP kit to Team Wendy, MTEK or HHV helmets.
Helmets use mounting rails systems other than the ARC, such as the EXFIL Rail (Team Wendy) or the MLOK Rail (MTEK, HHV). Changing the configuration of the mounting arms of the headphones using the Unity Tactical adapter can be done in just a few minutes.
The accessory also ensures stable installation and ergonomics of using the AMP set as it is the case with the original mounting on the ARC platform. The prices range from 22.00 to 29.00 USD.
