Silverback Airsoft has published a handful of new information about its new TAC-41 replica (which we wrote about in May). The new, spring-powered design, which you can see above, is already in the advanced prototype stage and, according to the manufacturer, will hit the shelves in 2021, although the exact release date has not been given yet.
The replica is 110 cm long and weighs 2.65 kg. It is a fully ergonomic design - comfortable for right and left-handed users (two-sides charging handle, AK type magazine release, central safety switch, hop-up adjustment knob, adjustable cheek pad).

The receiver of the TAC-41 is made on CNC machines from aircraft grade aluminum with a unique serial number engraved on it and will be equipped with a high Picatinny rail (for users of protective masks).

The outer barrel will be made of conical-shaped aircraft grade aluminum. The manufacturer has also announced a quick barrel change system. The brass inner barrel, 510 mm long and 6.05 mm in diameter, is a typical AEG barrel.

The outer barrel ends with a flash hider mounted on an M24 thread (compatible with M24 thread silencers or allowing the use of an M24 thread adapter to a standard 14mm thread).

The replica will be fed from magazines with a capacity of 48 BBs, and their release mechanism is structurally similar to the one used in the AK family of carbines.

The hop-up chamber is made of aluminum using CNC technology, with a 50-position TDC regulator, which can be used regardless of the optics used (the adjustment knob is placed directly on the barrel). The chamber will be compatible with AEG buckings and will have a system preventing double BB feeding.

The nylon from which the stock is made is reinforced with glass fiber and has a quick adjustment of the cheek pad. In addition, the stock can be extended with the included centimeter adapters (3 pcs.) by an additional 3 cm with additional adapters sold separately.

The front of the stock a bipod/tripod mount, 5 M-LOK slots on each side (2 M-LOK slots at the bottom) and 4 QD slots for attaching a carrying sling (at front and back of the replica, on both sides).

The TAC-41 will be available in 4 colors: Black, Flat Dark Earth, Olive Drab, Wolf Gray.

The projected price for the TAC-41 is 350 USD.
