The future in airsoft seems to come sooner than in the case of firearms - at least it seams that way by looking at the new product called STATUS by GATE.

So what is STATUS. According to the manufacturer's description, it is the first professional accessory mounted directly on a replica, which provides players with real-time data from the replica to reinforce every tactical decision.
The mini display accessory (OLED) is mounted on a standard picatinny rail and during a game provides the player with data on, among other things, the battery level, the number of BBs in a magazine or the angle of elevation of the replica - thanks to which the effectiveness of hits is constantly increasing.
STASUS works in conjunction with TITAN or ASTER modules via Blu-Link, ensuring real-time data flow. Structurally, STATUS consists of a housing made of milled aircraft grade aluminum and an OLED display protected with polycarbonate glass with a 3mk FlexibleGlass™ coating. The device is resistant to weather, shocks and general "abuse", meeting the IP68 and MIL-STD-810H standards.

The GATE STATUS computer is to be compatible with the following products:

EXPERT firmware
STATUS is not compatible with GCS PC/ macOS 2.x and basic MOSFET chips.
Some of the STATUS functions (in the Blu-Link/GATE ETU environment) are:
- counting of remaining balls
- battery level meter
- estimated number of shots on a given battery
- the angle of elevation of a replica
- steps counter, distance covered and calories burned
- temperature measurement
Some functions are also available in stand alone mode (not linked to the ETU/Blu-Link).
The GATE company accepts pre-orders for a new STATUS computer at 2199 PLN (about 482 EUR). Two color versions are available - black and Dark Earth.
