On July 24, on Piotrkowska Street, the Aid for Veteran Foundation organized a second picnic. The event, which was part of the 598th birthday of the city of Łódź, was used to raise money for the Warsaw Insurgents. As always, with this type of initiative, you can count on the presence of representations of military units, associations and reconstruction groups. Former soldiers of JW GROM Krzysztof Przepiórka and Andrzej "Wodzu" Kruczyński also honored the event with their presence.
It was held under the honorary patronage of the Head of the Office for Veterans and Victims of Oppression and the President of the City of Łódź. Among the exhibitors, you could see the stands of: the Veteran's Center of Operations Outside the State, the Military Commando Unit, 1st Brzeski Sappers Regiment, 25th Air Cavalry Brigade, 9th Łódź Territorial Defense Brigade, 32nd Tactical Aviation Base, the Military Aviation Works No. 1 in Łódź , 5th Lubuskie Artillery Regiment and 18th Mechanized Division.

The event was supported by, among others, by B3 Lodz group, reenacting the JW AGAT military unit, and formally functioning as an association of civilians and former soldiers, aimed at presenting the traditions and specifics of operations of this youngest formation of the Polish special forces. This time they supported a fundraiser for the veterans of the Warsaw Uprising. In addition, you could meet members of GRH Parasol. Members of the Club of Former "Red Berets" Airborne Soldiers also had their stand.
16,000 PLN was collected.
