LPVO (Low Power Variable Optics) have become a permanent fixture on AR15 rifles (and not only). Whether this is just a temporary trend, or a longer "romance", time will tell. A similar situation occurred in the case of pistol-mounted reflex sights. Some people said that it was just a temporary fad, but as we know (including the editorial staff that is actively shooting), the mini red dot sights will stay with us for longer. We know that it will be the same with scopes.

Meanwhile, Steiner, an American manufacturer known mainly from the production of DBAL laser sights, is entering the market of scopes, including LPVO, with the offer of four T6Xi series scopes.

The company offers the following models:

- T6Xi 1-6x24

- T6Xi 2.5-15x50

- T6Xi 3-18x56

- T6Xi 5-30x56

Common features of the new Steiner models are a rugged, robust build, open, locked reticle adjustment turrets that use the Never Lost system (probably meaning the lack of the possibility of losing turret covers in the products of competing companies), a lever for quick magnification power change in the set (which, for example, Vortex does not have), a diopter setting locking ring. All scopes of the T6Xi series have illuminated reticles powered by a CR2450 battery. The available backlight settings are two NV modes, four night modes, and five day modes. The reticle graduation settings are 0.1 MRAD/click or ¼ MOA/click.

Scopes are available with several reticle variants, including the latest KC1 made in collaboration with John Dufrense from Kinetic Consulting. < / p>

The aforementioned reticle is available in the 1-6x24 scope and, in our opinion, makes it a strong competitor against the Vortex or Night Force designs.

All the aforementioned scopes are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, for which one does not need proof of purchase or warranty cards. What's more, the warranty is specific to the product, not the customer, which undoubtedly makes the scopes attractive on the aftermarket. The prices of the new T6Xi Steiner series scopes are 1,954.99 USD for the 1-6x24 model, 2,184.99 USD for the 2.5-15x50 scope, 2,414.99 USD for the 3-18x56 scope and the model with the highest zoom 5-30x56 - 2,874.99 USD.

The scopes are manufactured in the USA. We are waiting for them to become available in Poland.
