For most of us, MBUS is synonymous with spare (and sometimes even basic) sights.

The American manufacturer has not only dominated the market of polymer magazines for the most popular shooting platforms, but was also relased the MBUS series for many years, which for many has become the gold standard when it comes to rifle-mounted fronts and rear sights.

Magpul decided to refresh one of its flagship products by introducing the MBUS 3 series to the market. The new sights combine the advantages of standard polymer sights that we are used to (relatively low price and weight, robust design) with the MBUS PRO, i.e. Magpul sights made of metal and with slightly smaller dimensions.

The main advantage of the new MBUS 3 is its weight reduction. The front sight weighs only 25 g, and the rear sight 30 g with mounting screws. Along with the weight reduction, the size also decreased and the sights in the folded position are only 1.2 cm and 1.4 cm high, respectively.

The devices are lifted and adjusted (which is important especially in the case of the front sight) without the use of additional tools.

The rear sight has two sizes of the sight aperture to enable both dynamic shooting at closer distances and precise shooting at longer distances.

The new MBUS 3 sights will be available in FDE, Black and OD Green for the manufacturer's price of $ 39.95 for a front sight and $ 59.95 for a rear sight.
