The Warfighter Cummerbund by Agilite was created as a collaboration between Israeli and US Special Forces. The result is a fairly universal and rigid cummerbund, giving a lot of configuration possibilities even when used with Plate Carriers made by other manufacturers. It is enough that it has a surface made of Velcro, which has become a de facto standard. However, when used with the K-Zero Plate Carrier, which we wrote about in detail or the older K19 model, a real flap adapter will be required.
An important feature of the Warfighter is that its stiffness. Thanks to this, the equipment carried on it does not bend the part meant for mounting it. At the same time, it still stretches horizontally, which significantly improves wearing comfort during movement.
One of the most important attributes distinguishing the design from Israel is the modularity that allows the use of various mounting systems. Among many available options, one can use the recently popular ROC by M2 or the original Tubes by FirstSpear. This gives plates carriers fastened a Velcro flap completely new possibilities.
As far as the sizes go, it provides users with three rows of MOLLE/PALS standard grids, in three length options:
- M / 7 grids / waist circumference of 76.2 cm - 101.5 cm / dimensions 57 x 14 x 1 cm / weight 126 grams
- L / 9 grids / waist circumference of 101.5 -127 cm / dimensions 64 x 14 x 1 cm / weight 140 grams
- XL / 11 grids / waist circumference of 127 - 157.5 cm / dimensions 72 x 14 x 1 cm / weight 152 grams
The main component are laser-cut Squadron laminate, Cordura 500d and thermoplastic CURV, which is also included in a Polish made belt by Neptune Spear
Finally, it is worth paying attention to the compatibility with the Agilite Flank Hard side armor pouches, which fit perfectly on the inside of the Warfighter, without taking up mounting space.
Three colors are available: black, Multicam and Ranger Green. In addition, one also has the option of choosing an version without quick-release buckles and with black or Coyote TanROC buckles.
At the time of publication, the manufacturer priced this product at 138 EUR plus additional 13 EUR for the buckles.
