The American AR 670-1 regulation, formally called the Wear and Appearance of Army Uniforms and Insignia, defines, among other things, the proper appearance of military personnel, including the appearance and manner of wearing uniforms.
Ensuring the greatest possible usefulness of its products, 5.11 Tactical the manufacturer of quality Purpose-Built Gear™, has introduced new variants of Speed 4.0 8" boots and EVO 2.0 8" to its offer, which comply with the above-mentioned military regulations.
TheSpeed 4.0 8" AR 670-1 are lightweight, proven in the field and durable high-top boots made of suede leather and 1200D nylon. They use the Ortholite® footbed and the Force Foam® heel cushioning. The tongue is made of abrasion-resistant mesh material. The ASTM sole is slip- and oil-resistant, and the 5.11 Heat Deflect technology defects excess heat away from the sole.
The EVO 2.0 8" AR 670-1 with a high upper made of suede leather and 1200D nylon also comply with the strict EN ISO 20347 OB, SRA, FO, E, HROstandard. Force Foam® cushioning and the Ortholite® footbed ensure high comfort and durability. Stitched slip-, oil-, and heat-resistant full rubber outsole protects from excess heat from the ground to give its user a sense of absolute comfort and safety. In line with the Always Be Ready® motto, the boots are also equipped with a hidden knife pocket.
Both models of boots are available in US Dark Coyote and in a wide range of sizes covering both Regular-D and Wide-E widths. The price of the Speed 4.0 8" AR 670-1 is $120, while the EVO 2.0 8" AR 670-1 is priced at $160.
