Kizuna Works, the manufacturer known for making accessories for AK replicas has prepared a new premiere for the MOA fair. The KW-15K pistol replicas have been joined by the new MKW-1 model in a similar configuration. The new replica is based on the same platform, but is larger due to a longer slide and barrel.
Visually, they are also distinguished by a grip with a significantly extended underbarrel rail, still retaining only one cutout for mounting flashlights. The safety levels have been slightly changed, now going over the slide in the safe position. The interior uses steel parts of the trigger mechanism, a TDC chamber with a fixed outer barrel, a double-sided slide stop and elevated sights. Internal components such as the steel trigger mechanism, nozzle assembly and BBU are identical to those in the KW-15K.
In the case of magazines, there has been some change in capacity, increasing it from 22 BBs to 26 BBs. KW-15K owners will be able to use new magazines with a spacer, which is currently being developed.
The replica is scheduled to go on sale in 2024.
