During the upcoming SHOT Show 2024, Holosun plans to present many interesting sights and tactical flashlights. One of the more interesting products is undoubtedly the multifunctional IRIS module.
IRIS (Integrated Rifle Infrared System), is a compact device with a green laser sight (3R class), coupled with the second one, operating in the IR band (2M class). In addition, the user is also provided with an infrared illuminator based on a VCSEL laser with the ability to adjust the focus of its beam using an ergonomic slider.
An electronic switch with an LED indicator is responsible for selecting the appropriate operating mode. The device is powered by a single CR123 battery and can be started using a "fire" button located on the back of the module as well as using remote switches in a popular standard.
IRIS is made of 7075 T6 aluminum alloy, weighs approximately 180 grams and has dimensions of 81x50x34 mm. It is waterproof in accordance to the IPX8 standard. The adjustment of the beam of coupled laser sights has a range of approximately 50 MOA, and a single adjustment click corresponds to 0.5 MOA. The suggested price (it is speculated to be around 1,000 USD) and the product release date are to be revealed during the SHOT Show 2024.
