Tokyo Marui is famous for its replicas and their legendary performance. Being also the pioneer in many cases (Saiga 12K by Tokyo Marui is coming soon), the company has prepared some new products this year and presented them during the 62nd ALL JAPAN MODEL & HOBBY SHOW.
The R series has been developed, intended for younger players. The performance of this series of replicas has been lowered to meet the requirements in Japan. This time, the series is joined by the classic AK-47 AEG replica and the gas-powered HiCapa pistol replica in the D.O.R. variant.
Other new products are gas-powered replicas of the Colt Single Action Army .45 revolver (SAA .45) in a variant with a 7.5 inch barrel and a replica of the AEG P90+ in a pink color scheme.
The SAA.45 replica has already been announced for release on October 23.
The P90+ replica is inspired by the Belgian carbine used by the main character Llenn (in the pink variant) in the anime series Gun Gale Online.
Tokyo Marui has decided to make magazines in this color. This is not the first such cooperation and certainly not the last. As the manufacturer itself pointed out, the replica is not offered in a limited quantity, and the scale of production will be determined by market interest. The replica does not differ in performance from its twin models. The release date and price have not yet been given.
Of the models already announced, in the form of the SIG P320 pistol and the Smith&Wesson M29 revolver replicas, only information about continuing development work was provided.
One of the most interesting presentations, which was also not a replica, was showcasing a speed loader for magazines. Tokyo Marui has created an electric speed loader (powered by 4 AA batteries) in the form of a miniature ammunition box. The whole thing holds 1600 BBs, is supposed to feed up to 9 balls per second and be able to feed up to 13000 BBs on a signle set of batteries.
The product is made entirely of polymers (including its internal components), but durability was taken into consideration and critical parts are reinforced. Additionally, the whole thing allows loading of standard AEG and GBB magazines (for both pistols and rifles) thanks to adapters cleverly placed in the parts of the speedloader, which also act as a handle or cover. The variants presented at the fair differ only in prints and are only prototypes. You can see how its made and works in this VIDEO on the X platform. No release date or price has been announced at this time.
