The Bolt brand, mainly responsible for characteristic AEG replicas with heavy recoil, has joined the group of manufacturers dealing with the MWS system from Tokyo Marui. They presented their approach to the subject at the MOA trade fair, where one could see elements of the Mega Airflow System (MAS).
The main elements that have been changed are the introduction of a system preventing the bolt from bouncing when moving forward, a new hop-up system with a patch and using GBB/VSR buckings.
The bolt group has also been redesigned, with the nozzle being replaceable for performance adjustment and enabling the use of dedicated firearms charging handles. The trigger group has also been changed, receiving a longer lever responsible for stopping the bolt in the rear position after the last shot and offering more realistic trigger operation with a noticeable reset.
This does not mean discontinuing the most characteristic mechanical recoil replicas. A new one with this system has been announced for 2025 in the form of the B&T SPC 9 pistol.
