The WE Airsoft and AW Custom brands have prepared several interesting proposals at this year's IWA 2025 trade fair. The first of them is a definite hit, i.e. a replica of the Strike Industries conversion kit for the FN P90. The original conversion kit itself has not yet been released for sale, and the presented replica conversionkit is not a final product due to the lack of the final finish. The whole thing is mounted on a gas-powered replica of the P90 from WE Airsoft.
Another improvement to gas-powered replicas is the 3rd generation of internal parts for AR-15 replicas (A new generation of gas-powered replica parts from WE Airsoft) including redesigned and reinforced trigger mechanisms, bolt catch and the bolt carrier itself with steel parts.
A new product created under the strict supervision of a firearm manufacturer is a replica of the Turkish Canick SFX Rival pistol, i.e. a more competitive variant.
WE Airsoft was responsible for the design and manufacturing, but the entirety, including dimensions, colors and logo, was supervised by Canik. The replica still uses its own standard of magazines shared with other Canik TP9 models and retains the ability to mount optics. The only deviation from the original is an additional safety due to legal aspects in some countries. 3 color variants have been announced (gray, black and black grip with gray lock) at a price of €189.
Another proposal from gas-powered replicas is a replica of the SIG P2022 pistol, which is a design used by the French police. The entire thing has a metal slide with a polymer grip and a SA/DA trigger mechanism with a decocker lever. These elements have been reproduced in the replica powered by Green Gas and available in black or sand/FDE color variants.
For fans of Colt 1911 replicas and its derivatives, there is an official replica of the Rapid pistol from Kimber Arms, made together with EMG, with a polished slide that looks similar to polished stainless steel.
AW Customs also presented its products at the joint stand. These were mainly accessories, but they drew attention. The first of them was a conversion kit of 1911 replica grips, allowing for easy addition of underbarrel rails to classic variants.
LPVO type scope replicas with fiber optics also appeared.
