The MWS airsoft gas-powered replica standard was created by Tokyo Marui with the Japanese market in mind. One of the characteristic features of this market is significantly lower performance, which is possible when using weaker gases powering the replicas and most often referred to as 8kg gases. With the European 12kg gas standards, even improper loading of the magazine may pose certain risks, as they are not necessarily adapted to increased pressures. One of the new proposals to solve this problem are magazines from Modify.
Compared to the original magazines, Modify's product is made of aluminum alloy with thicker walls, reinforced spring and pusher, 20 g gas capacity, full compatibility with the original standard and a capacity of 35 BBs. The whole thing is enclosed in a casing modeled after classic, metal Stanag magazines. They are available in pre-order at the manufacturer's website for 50 USD with an announced shipping date of June 15.
