Delta Recon Squad 2025is a tactical and shooting competition held at and around the shooting range of the Gorzów Shooting Society BRASS in Racław, near Gorzów Wielkopolski, on June 7–8, 2025. This unique event, organized in cooperation with Delta Optical, attracts shooting enthusiasts interested in tactics and survival from all over Poland and abroad. For the third time, the organizers have prepared challenging tasks that, over the course of two days, will test the shooting skills, terrain navigation, and teamwork abilities of the participating shooting pairs.

The marching part is divided into two stages: day and night. Participants, fully equipped (weapons, ammunition, water, and food for 24 hours), will cover about 30 km (20 km in a straight line) through challenging forest terrain, completing 7 tasks involving survival, battlefield medicine, stealth approach, and observation of the OPFOR camp. The night stage includes orienteering. Competitors will navigate using landmarks until they attempt to cross a “guarded border,” which requires precise navigation and stealth. Last year, participants ultimately covered around 50 km.

The second day will feature the shooting stage. At the GTS BRASS shooting range in Racław, participants will face 12 shooting tasks (6 per category) at ranges from 10 to 250 meters (Recon Team category) or up to 500 meters (Sniper Team category), divided by endurance tasks. This year, two competition categories are planned: Recon Team and Sniper Team. Including the day march, night march, and the shooting section, each category will involve 10 tasks in total.

In addition to being physically prepared, participants are expected to bring their own firearms appropriate for their chosen category—i.e., a sniper rifle for the Sniper Team with at least 50 rounds, and a carbine with at least 120 rounds for the Recon Team. A pistol with 50 rounds will also come in handy. In addition to mandatory shooting range gear (eye and ear protection), participants will also need a notebook, something to write with, a ruler, and a GPS. This year, a gas mask with a working filter is also required.
Since participants will spend the first 24 hours in the field, they must also individually ensure 24-hour food supply and carry survival equipment suitable for the terrain. As in previous years, a water crossing is also to be expected. Participants must be prepared for challenging terrain conditions, shifting time windows for tasks, and the presence of OPFOR patrols, which will add realism to the competition.

The organizers are enthusiasts like you and me, with extensive experience and a shooting record, ensuring professional organization, judge support, and an unforgettable atmosphere. It’s also worth mentioning that GTS BRASS organized such events "before it became fashionable," and now they have followers. Their "Call of Duty" competitions are the first of this form of sport shooting in Poland. They also compete in other similar competitions (e.g., Light Infantry, Sniper Extreme).
