The world of firearms is full of interesting and unusual designs. In the case of handguns one can mention designs that stand out for their operating mechanism and caliber, such as the Desert Eagle in .50 Action Express or the Auto Mag pistol in .44AMP. While we can enjoy a replica of the first of these designs quite easily, the American design does not have such wide representation and includes only a few models. In the case of those replicas we are dealing with rather unusual solutions such as a gas-powered version using 8mm BBs (Marushin) or a spring-powered replica with casings (Tokyo Marui). These solutions are decidedly impractical and hard to use in ordinary recreational activities. One solution is the Burts Head product, a small Japanese company offering a conversion kits intended for Action Army Company AAP-01 replicas. The conversion itself replaces selected factory parts such as the outer barrel or iron sights and gives the possibility to mount additional covers on the slide's wing or grip panels. This does not require any additional changes to the replica itself.

This is not the only conversion kis offered by Burst Head. Fans of ASH and replicas of designs from the World War II period may be interested in a conversion to the Nambu Type 14 pistol. From more modern (and uncommon) designs a conversion kit modeled on the Hungarian Claridge Hi-Tec/Goncz GA9 submachine gun has also been prepared.

Both finished replicas with additional markings and conversion kits made of one or several parts are available. As we have learned, international shipping is offered, and interested parties can purchase the conversion at BurstHead.base.shop.
