The largest shooting trade show, Shot Show, takes place in Las Vegas; however, there is also room for airsoft there. As every year, the KWA Tactical brand also had its booth at the event. So what has been prepared for the upcoming year 2026?
KelTec Sub 2000 Gen3 GBB
In cooperation with KelTec and Evike Manufacture Group (EMG), a prototype replica of a rather unique PCC has been prepared. We are, of course, talking about the Gen 3KelTec Sub 2000 pistol-caliber carbine — a very interesting folding firearm design fed from pistol magazines. In the presented prototype, it was possible to faithfully reproduce the characteristic folding mechanism, along with a 90-degree rotation of the handguard (allowing the weapon to be folded with optics mounted), a mostly polymer construction, an M-LOK mounting system handguard, and an extended top rail. While the real firearm version is available in several caliber variants (9x19 mm, 5.7x28 mm, 10 mm Auto), in the case of the replica it was decided to reproduce only the 9x19 mm variant, fed from KWA Glock ATP replica magazines (both Green Gas and CO2 variants).
No detailed performance data was provided. It was only announced that there will be two bolt variants available: one with a higher muzzle velocity (Hi-Power) and one with a lower muzzle velocity (Low-Power). The replica will be equipped with a 16-inch outer barrel finished with a standard 14mm CCW thread for mounting accessories.
AEG Bolt
For fans of a noticeable “kick,” even in AEG replicas, a new AR-15 replica called Bolt was presented. This series will be characterized by a fully moving bolt (rather than just a dummy bolt as found in EBB replicas), which serves both as a realistic imitation of a real firearm bolt carrier group and as part of the pneumatic system.
Inside the replica’s upper receiver, there is no traditional gearbox frame; instead, the gear set, motor, and electronics have been placed in the lower receiver. All electronics are controlled via a dedicated ETU unit with wireless Bluetooth connectivity. Dedicated magazines with a capacity of 30 BBs will be supplied with the replica.
MS260 Magazines
A welcome addition for owners of AEG replicas are the new mid-cap magazines with a capacity of 260 BBs. The product is intended to be compatible with standard replicas. The magazine also integrates a feature that activates the cut-off mechanism after the last BB is fed. Visually, the magazines also differ from standard ones by their feed lip design.
