The peak season for gas-powered replicas is fast approaching, and Vega Force Company is officially launching new replicas of this kind to the market. The main highlight of the release is the AV-105, a replica of the AK-105, representing another addition to the expanding family of AK replicas from the Taiwanese manufacturer. The replica comes in two variants: the classic AV-105 with standard polymer handguard and gas tube cover, along with a folding stock, and the AV-105 Tactical, which, as the name suggests, is a tactical version featuring an M-LOK handguard, a stock adapter for a buffer tube, an AR-15 stock, and a thicker pistol grip in SAW style.

Additionally, both versions feature receivers made of steel and finished with phosphating, equipped with a side-mounted dovetail optics rail, replicated rivets and welds, and many other steel components. Another external difference is the safety lever, which in the modernized model includes an extended finger shelf, as well as different muzzle devices.

Inside the replicas, we will find a steel bolt carrier group machined using CNC, a 22 mm diameter nozzle, a steel trigger mechanism faithfully replicating the original, an EZ Hop hop-up system with rotary adjustment and a VSR-standard bucking, as well as the ability to utilize full bolt travel (resulting in stronger recoil).

The replicas will be compatible with standard or extended magazines. Additionally, following the introduction of the AKM replica (which also appeared as a preview at the Vega Force Company booth during IWA 2026 AKM, AK-105 and KAC KS-3 by Vega Force Company) and the release of 7.62x39 mm magazines, it will be possible to easily configure the replica into an AK-104.

Shadow Systems DR920
Alongside this release, a replica of the Shadow Systems DR920 pistol was also presented, a firearm design based on the GlockGen 3 platform with several proprietary modifications. The most visible changes include a redesigned slide geometry featuring an optics cut, as well as the addition of a 20 mm underbarrel rail. All of these elements (along with an outer barrel featuring an internal thread for a suppressor adapter or other accessories) are present in the new Shadow Systems DR920 replica, created through collaboration between Vega Force Company and Evike Manufacture Group (EMG), which also holds the official license for Shadow Systems replicas.

The replica is currently available only in a standard size and with either a black or brown barrel. The entire platform is based on the VegaForceCompany system, including the GuideHop adjustment system, and is compatible exclusively with magazines of this standard. Shadow Systems also offers other models, and it is possible that additional replica variants will appear in the future. The price of the new replica is 150 USD on the Evike website.
