At this years Tokyo Marui Festival, the company presented their own design of an electric powered shotgun. As this new stirred much interest in the airsoft community we decided to get together all the info available in the Internet about this original creation.
The replica has a standard M4/16 type pistol grip which will allow users to exchange it as per user's preferences.
The rails will be made of aluminium using CNC tooling. They will have the manufacturer's and replica's markings.
The same as it was in the AA-12, the SGR-12 is based on the F.E.T. system, which despite the maximum cap of voltage at 8,4V allows for ROF of 30 BBs/s. We can assume that the newest electric shotgun from Tokyo Marui has the same Gearbox as the AA-12, or just a slightly modified version of it.
The magwell is fully compatible with the magazines used in AA-12 - both the 93 BB lowcap and the 3000 BB drum fit in. We can assume that the new magazine from the SGR-12, featuring mock up shell, will fit i the AA-12.
