Husar, the Polish manufacturer of tactical equipment, continues to look for new solutions. Over the past few years, the company has dynamically developed and is still boldly looking for innovative solutions. There was quite a buzz about Husar due to their great Cubby Admin pouch and Cubby Admin Plus pouch, as well as two plate carriers, the Noble model and the budget Concrete version - see the links to the reviews in the footer of this article. Especially the first one stirred a lot of emotions in the broadly understood military oriented community and found recognition, also overseas. An ingenious design, refinement of details combined with functionality distinguishes this manufacturer from many other competitors. Tactical aesthetes will certainly be satisfied.
The Kirys is the latest project with the Husar logo. As you can see, the manufacturer consistently uses the nomenclature with originates mostly in the history of the Polish Armed Forces. The new plate carrier presents a progressive trend of "losing weight" in equipment design, in order to maximize the mobility of soldiers, usually special forces. The Kirys is, in fact, an minimalistic frame for holding ballistic plates, made from Kydex, HUSAR Skin (hypalon-like material) and Cordura 500 / 500D laminate. The Rapid Open Connector (ROC) is responsible for the quick release of the vest system. These buckles also allow you to easily snap the vest together again (no more unpleasant consequences resulting from pranks).

The vest has a universal size and you can buy it in the following colors: coyote, ranger green, black, multicam, multicam black and multicam tropic. It weights 700g.
You can buy covers for plates separately in camouflage patterns available from the manufacturer. The current price of a vest available in the pre-order is 700 PLN (around 160 EURO).
