Magazine shaped rest - Viper Tech.
The holes are used to attach the handle to the workbench with the screws that come with the set. As you can see, when you work with replicas from time to time its it not really needed.
The upper receiver rest. This one fits the Viper Tech and VFC GBB replicas. It does not fir the Ra Tech replicas made in the WE standard.
And finally, the Modify vise with three types of jaws.
More information about this tool will be available soon in a separate article.
Well now, why would I need all this?
Assembling, modifying or repairing replicas are activities that are not considered serious ones and they do not require some high tech workshop equipment. Passion will remain passion. As we wrote in the first sentence - we all know that basically all tasks can be done with basic (home made) tools like wrenches or adjustable pliers. Nonetheless, untrained hands can damage a replica. We've created this material to present you some of the many solutions and just to show off the equipment of our editorial workshop.
Do you have other tools? Or maybe your own solutions and patents on how to deal with unusual design choices in the AR rifles? Show them to us!
