The front grip

I wrote earlier that I will put more emphasis on the common parts of the Edge series, less on those characteristic only for individual replicas. Nevertheless, when describing this carbine, I can not omit them altogether. One of such part is the front grip.

In the described replica, an aluminum alloy octagonal 7.5-inch front grip fitted with the M-Lok system sockets is installed. The sockets are located on the bottom and on both sides of the grip. The upper part is formed into two short Picatinny rails. At the bottom is an aluminum alloy lightweight tactical grip, which provides a firm resting place for the hand. The grip is secured with screws in two M-Lok sockets.

The front grip is made very carefully. It is covered with the same coating as the carbine's receiver so it also looks great. The degree of fitting with the rail of the upper receiver is excellent.

The front grip is mounted with a barrel nut compressed by three screws.

The front is secured against turning around the barrel nut with an often used solution, i.e. protrusions. The photo shows the left side of the front, the right side looks the same.

Unfortunately the replica does not have a dummy gas tube and block.

On the external barrel made of ZnAl, there is not even a dummy gas block. The barrel is finished with a standard slotted flash hider with 14 mm counterclockwise thread. The flash hider does not have a securing screw that is often found in other replicas.

The inner barrel extends from the outer barrel.
