HopUp adjustment

Access to the chamber is obtained by pulling the charging handle.

Pulling it opens the ejector port cover and pulls back the dummy bolt. Unfortunately, unlike earlier Specna Arms replicas, the bolt does not lock in the rear position and during the HopUp adjustment we have to hold the handle back. It is not convenient, but you can live with it. What's more, Edge replicas are not the only ones that use such a system.

The HopUp adjustment itself is done in an intuitive way and after acquiring some practice in keeping the charging handle back, it does not pose any problems. The adjusting ring moves smoothly, does not click. It allows you to fine-tune the operation of the system which, due to the design of the chamber, should not loose its settings by itself.

The magazines

Two 125 BB mid-cap magazines are Included. The capacity of 125 BBs is the declared by the manufacturer. I was able to load 136 BBs into magazines each time.

The magazines are made entirely of hard polymer. The material is hard and does not bend under your fingers. The magazine casings are made very carefully and cleanly.

A nice feature is the texture of the side surfaces of magazines. As seen up close:

Yes ... This is a pattern of two rounds standing side by side duplicated all over the surface, which are in fact the stylized SA letters - the Specna Arms logo. Wink, wink. Does anyone know which manufacturer of real firearms is doing similar things?

Both magazines that came with the replica during the tests fed all the BBs without any problems. Although I skipped the stage of multi-stage loading of more and more BBs. I was charging them up to the full and it was OK!
