The first information about plans to introduce such a product appeared in 2018. A prototype was already presented at IWA 2019. We have currently learned that the SMC-9 will be available shortly. The product has already appeared on the G&G website with the "coming soon" info.
The conversion kit is dedicated for G&9 GTP9 pistols.
The range of those pistols has recently been expanded to include 3 new color versions - black and gray, black and tan and tan.
The release date and SMC-9 conversion kit price have not yet been given. Therefore we were very surprised its availability in one of the stores in South Africa: 
Price: 3,750 ZAR which is more or less 250 USD. A set with a GTP-9 pistol costs 335 USD.
