Tokyo Marui has officially announced the release date of the AEG replica of Mk46 Mod.0 light machine gun yesterday. Work on the replica took quite a long time, which we wrote about previously in 2018 (HERE), and in spring 2019 (HERE). Therefore, it seems that the release is a bit late. However, citing Tokyo Marui's website, we can inform you that the LMG replica will be released on December 12, 2019.
The replica is based on a specially designed gearbox that works with the new version of the NGRS (Next Generation Recoil System). A unique feature is a mechanism that simulates the movement of the ammo belt. The replica has licensed FN Herstal markings.
Basic parameters:
- overall length: 920 mm;
- weight: 6350 g;
- inner barrel length: 326 mm;
- magazine capacity: 1000 BBs;
- muzzle velocity: 280-300 fps.
