Outdoor Research has long been a leading outdoor brand with strong roots in the military world. Starting in 2020, Brigantes and Outdoor Research will join forces and start developing a new winter clothing system to be introduced in the UK and EU.

Based on the basic elements of the existing clothing range and using proven technical fabrics such as GORE-TEX and Primaloft®, the product range has been designed to meet the needs of the European armed forces.

Colossus Parka and Tradecraft products have already been used in northern Norway, where the unique insulation provided by Primaloft® enabled work at low temperatures with a much smaller volume of clothing used, surpassing competing products using this technology.

Tactical Cold Weather products series will cover all layers of clothing, including the middle layer, insulation layer and outer layer. The clothing system will be an important addition to the perfect gloves and mitts already used by many units and will enable the creation of a complete solution in the field of tactical clothing based on the combined knowledge of operators from North America and Europe.
