The CompM5b is a 2 MOA red dot sight with a bullet drop compensation function, which can be adjusted using interchangeable turrets for various types of ammunition. Wind compensation can be adjusted in three levels - mild, moderate and strong. Interchangeable turrets can be customized to meet specific customer requirements and ballistic profiles.

The CompM5b is the latest product in the CompM5 range of sights and is powered by a single AAA battery. These small and lightweight batteries are inexpensive and easy to find all over the world. Easily available alkaline AAA versions simplify logistics and eliminate potential risks associated with shipping lithium batteries. The CompM5b has an exceptionally long battery life - over 5 years of continuous use on day position 7 and over 10 years of continuous use on night vision settings. The sight was designed to take up minimal space on the weapon, while maintaining a high standard of durability and reliability.

The CompM5b withstands immersion in water up to 150 feet, it is compatible with all generations of night vision devices, as well as with the Aimpoint 3X-C, 3XMag-1 and 6XMag-1 magnifiers. The high-quality optical lens system provides the CompM5b with high light transmission and spot clarity, eliminating the problem of parallax.
