Our attention was mainly caught by the new Bren 2 MS.
The Bren 2 MS Carbine is a full-size variant of the so-called pistols that appeared on the US market at the beginning of last year.
The new Bren 2 MS is chambered for the 5.56 round and has a heavy barrel which is 16.5 inches long. The Bren 2 MS' muzzle brake is very similar to the one that appeared on the original 805 Bren.
The lower receiver is made of polymer reinforced with carbon fiber and has a foldable and adjustable stock. The CZ company suggests that the rifle will be available in more calibers including the .308. Currently only the 5.56 version is available.
It's time for the pistols, the most interesting of which are, in our opinion, models made in cooperation between CZ and Dan Wesson.
At the end of 2019, Dan Wesson released the DWX pistol based on a 1911 pistol slide and the frame from the CZ 75 model, chambered for the 9 mm round.
At first, the idea might seem ridiculous, however, the success of the gun resulted in the fact that in 2020 Dan Wesson decided to introduce the Compact version of the DWX pistol.
The DWX Compact is a hybrid pistol based on a 1911 slide and a CZ 75 compact frame with a 4" barrel and a magazine capacity of 15 rounds. The DWX Compact, without ammunition, weighs 807 grams. The Picatinny rail allows to install additional accessories such as flashlights or laser sights.
An interesting feature of both DWX models is the fact that they use standard 1911 triggers with all their pros and cons. Currently, the DWX and the DWX Compact cost 1799 USD.
Various Scorpion EVO models were also available for viewing at the CZ stand, including the S2 Micro version and the BullPup conversion kit, we wrote about at WMASG.
