Not so long ago we wrote at WMASG about the first Glock chambered for the .22LR round (rimfire). Below are some information and photos of this gun - straight from Las Vegas.
The pistol is the equivalent of Glock 19, and has, like other Gen5 models, a new trigger and a new GMB barrel.
The magazine holds 10 rounds, and it is interesting that the slide has a hybrid structure. It consists of metal rails that are embedded in a polymer housing of the slide. This reduces the weight of the slide itself and improves the reliability of the weapon through smoother operation of the slide.
