The HK53 subcarbine was designed as the shortest version of the HK33, designed for indoor combat. As a weapon with the dimensions of a submachine gun provided greater firepower due to a carbine round used. The HK33 and HK 53 could be seen in the hands of such units as the SAS. In airsoft, however, it is more about the aesthetic side of things.
LCT Airsoft has announced the release of the LK53 on August 5. As always, one can expect a solid piece of steel. Fans of the somewhat old school special units should be satisfied. The replicas will be available with a fixed stock (LK-53A2) or a collapsible stock (LK-53A2). The replicas will be available in AEG and EBB versions.
