Good news for the owners of the G3 family. An announcement of new products for the G3, G33 and G53 carbine replicas has appeared at the LCT website. These are new handguards with RIS rails by LCT. This time, one should not miss out on the possibility of mounting tactical attachments.
Handguards for the LC-3, LK-33 and LK-53 will be available. As can be seen, the handguards for the LC-3 and LK-53 will have the markings of the RIS rail sockets. The handguards themselves will be two-piece: the handguard itself made of a single block of metal and the assembly for the replica, screwed to the proper handguard. For this reason, the lower section of the rail will have fewer slots. The handguard itself will be mounted on a pin, the same as the factory mounted one.
What material the handguard will be made of has not been specified, but one can expect anodized aluminum. Price and release date have also not been revealed.
