Russian submachine gun replicas are not as popular among manufacturers as players would like. Among this range we already have gas-powered designs available such as the PP2K from Modify (PP2000 Modify (PP2K)), a more modern PP-20K from Well Pro (PPK20 from Well Pro in a gas-powered variant) or the historical PPSh-41 replica from Vega Force Company (PPSh-41 replica from Vega Force Company officially presented). Lambda Defense will soon join this humble group with its latest replica, the SR2M submachine gun.
This design from the beginning of the political transformation period is originally chambered in 9x21mm ammunition, and is clearly inspired by AK carbines in the form of a safety lever and a top-folding stock. This PDW design was replicated by Lambda Defense and they recently presented a working product on their social media. As it was additionally emphasized, thanks to the help from Russia it was possible to correctly reproduce the external dimensions, the stripping method and other details. You can also see a reproduction of the characteristic striker mechanism, without the more commonly used hammer.
The replica comes with accessories such as longer magazines with a capacity of 42 BBs, a top rail for mounting optics, a mounting rail for the handguard, and a suppressor replica. There will be two color variants to choose from, with polymer elements in black or brown. Pre-orders are already underway in one of the Asian stores with prices of $360 for a replica with a magazine, $36 for a magazine, $56 for a suppressor replica, and $30 and $10 for the top rail and the handguard rail, respectively. Estimated availability is October this year.
