Mancraft, a well-known manufacturer of conversions and HPA parts, has announced its first V2 Gearbox frame for AEG replicas made in CNC technology. It is to be made of durable 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum. The frame, apart from a standard quick spring replacement system, 8 mm bearing sockets, reinforcements in the front part of the frame and rounded corners of the cylinder port, it will have sockets for adjusting the frame in the horizontal plane, a cutout for the spring release, and instead of the standard threads in the frame for attaching the pistol grip, sockets for steel nuts (this will let one avoid damaging the threads and possibly replacing them in case of damage).
A cutout has also been added on the left side at the height of the sector gear to make it easier to tweak the AoE.
There will also be two color versions of the frame: a red one and one without any coating.
The set with the gearbox will include a set of pins and screws, a guide for quick spring replacement. The price of the pre-order at the manufacturer's website is 125 €, and any pre-order comes with a free flat tuning trigger in black, gold or silver.
The gearbox itself is to be available in February 2022.
