After the first presentation during the Shot Show 2023 fair, official information about the T 191 gas-powered replica based on the QBZ 191 rifle was confirmed. This is a design introduced in 2019 into the People's Liberation Army of the People's Republic of China.

The replica itself is based on a paintball marker, and it will be powered by an HPA tank that can be connected via a connector in the grip or from 33 gram CO2 capsules placed in the stock. The mechanism of operation will be based on a bolt with a shortened travel. In addition, care was taken to keep the function of locking the bolt after the last shot. Externally, we find an adjustable stock, a double-sided selector switch with settings every 45 degrees and a bolt catch on the left side. A polymer handguard with a rail on top was also provided. The whole thing has some elements reminiscent of the arrangement of manipulators known from the AR-15, but probably none of the elements will be shared with replicas of this family.

The replica is to be available in Q3 2023.
