KWA started the new year with the presentation of the prototype of an ATPZ pistol replica. The Adaptive Training Pistol Z (because this is its name) was presented to the public for the first time during the Shot Show 2023.
As one can see, the design refers to the US Army's standard handgun, the Sig Sauer M17. This is confirmed by the fact that it is possible to use dedicated holsters for the M17/M18 family of pistols. Just like the original, it will have a replaceable trigger module, a factory-fitted slide for reflex sights and a construction made of metal and polymers. Probably, as in the case of the real firearm, there will be grips in different sizes, and the ability to move the trigger mechanism between them will be a useful addition. In addition to the information already provided, all we know is that work on the final product is expected to take another year. This year we should be able to enjoy a replica of the Austeyr gas-powered carbine, scheduled to be available at the end of this year. (Gas Austeyr by KWA)
