This is an extremely useful mount that allows to adjust the height of a sight on a rail. It is made of very durable and lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum. It complies with the Picatinny1913 standard, so one can try to mount other types of sights on it. However, please note that the manufacturer only guarantees compatibility with the Aimpoint® Micro Standard. This is related to the position of the sight itself in relation to the iron sights and the attached mounting plate. The adjustment allows for 1/3 co-witness (this means that some iron sights are also visible through the mounted sight) and can be rised to up to 1.93 inches (4.90 cm).
