Green Force Gear is a Finnish manufacturer of innovative solutions in the field of tactical equipment for uniformed services. In the previous quarter of 2023, the company has released a new product - The PUZZLE - an ingenious, modular, minimalist and lightweight system that allows to create or expand one's own chest rig, and even transform one's favorite MOLLE pouches into one.
The PUZZLE - a product made of the Squadron™ B52 laminate (two layers of 500D Cordura) retains the camouflage properties in near infrared. It consists of light panels, acting as adapters, with a single or double laser-cut MOLLE grid. They have been equipped with hooks for 1” buckles included in the set, placed in various places. The panels allow to connect the user's pouches with their own MOLLE straps. Although this solution provides less stiffness of the webbing configured in this way, it makes up for it with a very low weight and huge possibilities of personalizing the system.
The solution prepared by Green Force Gear also allows to use the panels to expand the already owned equipment in a situation where all the pouches we wanted to use did not fit on it. At the same time, the panels can be used to conveniently transform almost any single pouch into probably the most minimalist chest rig on the market. The creators ensure that there are plenty of possibilities to configure, connect and use their product.
To complete the conversion or creating a new chest rig, all that is needed are additional shoulder straps and a waist belt. The PUZZLE works in this respect with all other products on the market that use 1" buckles, including the manufacturer's proprietary module called the Adaptive Rig System (ARS) Bravo .
Additional elements are also available: panels with a zipper or quick release components, which can be useful when creating a split front webbing.
The basic PUZZLE set consists of four panels (double MOLLE grids each) for connecting pouches, two (single MOLLE grid) with buckles at the top, two (single MOLLE grid) with buckles on the side, and a total of six Duraflex repair buckles. It is available in many colors: Flecktarn, Ranger Green, Coyote Brown, Multicam Tropic, Multicam Black, Multicam and Black. It is priced at EUR 55 and comes with a lifetime warranty.
