In the world of firearms and airsoft, the designs of some weapons are iconic. Whether it is the M16A1, the AK-47 or the Dragunova SVD sniper rifle with plywood parts. This time LCT Airsoft has made the SVD replica in the S version.
The new version of the rifle will be equipped with a folding tubular stock with a cheekpad, a new muzzle device being part of the front sight or the barrel shortened from 700mm to 635mm.
Steel construction, welds and rivets are still identical to other SVD replicas made by LCT Airsoft, but the shortest version is surprisingly the heaviest one, weighing 4.1 kg instead of 3.9 kg. Inside there is a quick spring change system, 9 mm bearings and an ETU trigger control system. As one can see in the available materials, versions with different performance were made.
The replica is to be released on August 1, 2023.
