Airsoft is a beautiful sport where technical aspects are as important as skill. Innovations are most often created by larger manufacturers such as Tokyo Marui, G&G Armament, APS, Laylax, Perun and others. Players themselves also modify their replicas, creating conversions or sets of parts, as exemplified by the latest product from NaMech Airsoft. The idea of an innovative trigger assembly for VSR-10 replicas was born two years ago from a simple question about a mechanism would avoids unnecessary friction and mechanical wear of individual parts. During these two years the author worked and developed a project called the Infinity Trigger, now changed to the Flux Trigger.
The design uses magnets instead of springs at the trigger and piston lug. Bearings were also used on the piston and the stopper for the least possible wear of individual parts and for the smoothest operation. Materials in the form of 7075 T6aluminum alloy and hardened stainless steel were used in its manufacture, which was done via CNC technology. In the final product, it is possible to use various triggers, as well as adjustment of trigger pull weight in the range from 100 g to over 1000 g (factory setting will be 400 g).
The new Flux Trigger is compatible with the VSR-10 and the SSR-10 system replicas, it will available in Europe at the Tridos shop and in the United States on Etsy. You can follow the progress of the work being done at NaMech Airsoft. The expected price for the set with the classic trigger is 125 USD and the release date will probably be November.
