During this year's 61st edition of the Japan Model & Hobby Show, Tokyo Marui has announced a whole range of its latest products.
For younger airsoft players in Japan, a special "R" series was created, which differs from standard replicas in performance, disassembly method and has an additional blue element at the muzzle device. This series is intended for players under 18 years of age and was created in accordance with the requirements of the Japanese Youth Development Regulation requiring performance lower than 0.134J.
For all players, new versions of VSR-ONE replicas have been prepared in Stealth Gray and Phantom Blue colors.
The GLOCK 17 GEN.5 MOS replica, the latest generation of pistols from Austria, has joined the family of airsoft GLOCKs. There have been changes in the design of the replica's slide to allow for the installation of red dot sights. The material from which the slide is made was also changed, introducing the addition of carbon.
As for AEGs, a new replica of the NGRS series has been announced. It is to be the MP5A4 model with a fixed stock. The replica will have a standard trigger control system offering 3 modes (single, burst, auto). It will still be possible to use standard MP5 NGRS replica magazines.
Another new product is the Patriot Plus replica. Based on the M4 Patriot HC, the Plus system has been added (first appearing in Tokyo Marui P90 Plus) containing a MOSFET and a control system. The replica itself definitely stands out from the others of its family with a unique handguard, an aluminum muzzle device and a rail for mounting the stock or a carrying sling swivel it in place of the stock guide. The price of the replica has not been announced yet.
