This year's MOA 2023 held in Taiwan brought more new releases by Vega Force Company than we have expected.
We found out about the gas-powered replica of the FN FNC rifle just before the fair (Another star of the movie "Heat" will soon be available at Vega Force Company). As it turns out, they will be available not only in the classic version, but also in a more tactical one with an M-LOK handguard, a RIS adapter for stocks and a pistol grip with ribbing instead of a smooth texture present in the classic version.
In addition, more information about the replicas themselves became available. As standard, they will use the M4 V3 magazines with a capacity of 30 BBs, will have a 4-position safety/selector switch with a working 3-round burst. Inside, there will be a 360 mm long barrel, trigger mechanism parts made of steel, a built-in bolt reinforcement and a feature allowing to adjust the weight of the bolt assembly to change the sensations felt while shooting. The whole thing will weigh a modest 3650 g and generate 1.4J of muzzle energy.
The replicas will also have full markings of Fabrique Nationale de Herstal thanks to cooperation with Cybergun.
Another replica from the Belgian factory has also been refreshed. The LAR model (which is a replica of the FN FAL carbine) was modernized by replacing the classic stock with an adapter with a rail and a handguard in the M-LOK system.
The accessories will be available for sale separately or mounted on LAR OSW MK1 and LAR OSW Pistol replicas.
Another surprise is a gas-powered replica of the AK 74MN carbine. The product, mostly made of steel, is to have dimensions that allow for trouble-free installation of firearm components.
In addition, to reduce weight, the magazine tanks were made of aluminum and the capacity was changed from the classic 30 to 42 BBs. The replica will have a Full Travel bolt, the ability to quickly adjust the pressure of the hop-up bucking with was made in the VSR standard.
A Taiwanese accent is definitely the first gas-powered replica of the Taiwan Army's standard issue carbine, the T91.
The design resembling the American M4 and M16 carbine is definitely distinguished by its 4-position selector operating in a 360-degree range. Among the standard fire modes, we also have a 3-shot burst here. Two visually different versions are presented.
The tactical model has an M-LOK handguard, the classic one is equipped with a characteristic triangular one. In turn, both of them share an adjustable 3-position stock and an original-looking grip. The classic version may be more difficult to obtain due to the "Special custom" markings suggesting that they will be a limited edition item.
