Battle Gnome Solutions, in cooperation with Polenar Tactical, has developed a new holster the H&K MP5 submachine guns.
The new product is made of durable Kydex T material with a thickness of 3 mm. It has retention protection adjusted by two screws located in the front part of the holster and an additional strap.
The holster is compatible with the H&K MP5 submachine gun (also with the SD version) and its clones made in the same standard. It can be used with or without the magazine inserted. During the tests, its compatibility with Navy type trigger mechanisms with a double-sided safety/selector switch, as well as with SF and SEF with reinforcements was confirmed. Also, most of the classic optic mounts dedicated to MP5 should not have a negative impact on the ability to use the holster.
On the other hand, the product from BGs and Polenar Tactical does not work with weapons equipped with a grip and trigger group with a modified shape of the trigger guard (e.g. the Magpul SL Grip Module), with magazines wider than the factory ones, or with a handguard extending towards the magazine well more than that of the SD version. It has also not been tested for proper operation with the MP5 K variant.
The holster is sold with a partially lowered (Mid Ride) belt mount (max. width of 58 mm) with a thigh strap. Thanks to the universal mounting system based on holes, it can be replaced with solutions made by other popular manufacturers, such as Blackhawk, Safariland, G-Code, Bladetech, etc.
The product is valued at 170 EUR, is available in a version for right-handed and left-handed people, and the order completion time is usually 1 to 2 weeks.
