In addition to the RICO2 RH50R model we already wrote about, InfiRay has presented another new thermal imaging sight during the SHOT Show 2024: the Hybrid HYH75W.
InfiRay Hybrid HYH75W is a thermal imager made of a light and durable magnesium and aluminum alloy, which has been adapted to operate both as a stand-alone sight and in combination with a classic scope.
The heart of the device is a sensor with a resolution of 640x480 @ 12 μm and thermal sensitivity NETD ≤25 mK. The image is displayed on a large, 1.03"AMOLED 2560x1920 px screen. However, what is most striking about the Hybrid HYH75W model, is a huge 75 mm/F1.0 lens. This configuration provides 4x basic magnification (with a 5.9°×4.4° field of view), which can be digitally increased up to 32x. All this gives it a very long detection range of an object the size of a human, reaching nearly 3900 meters, as well as increased image quality at closer range.
Naturally, the new InfiRay thermal imaging sight is equipped with a wide range of useful functions, including audio and video recorder (with a built-in 64 GB of memory),WiFi connectivity, possibility of customization of reticles, a ballistic calculator (the device has support for external LRF modules made by this manufacturer) and many other features. The IBP-1H battery has enough to power for approximately 6 hours of use. More detailed technical specifications are available below:
The Hybrid HYH75W, despite its large size (310x105x91 mm), weighs only 1005 g, and is protected against the adverse effects of dust and water in a high IP67 standard. It is also covered by a five-year manufacturer's warranty.
